An art historian speaks about the troubled and desultory existences of the women and men who lived and wrote in the margins.

An actress and an actor read texts: letters of love and rage, prayers, poetic inventions, private diaries. The selected texts for this reading were created within the secluded and exclusive world of asylums. Projections show the manuscripts, painted or drawn, decorated, strangely calligraphed or painted with fervour. A moment to discover and immerse yourself in a world both distant and close.
