Each ticket is valid for one person only and includes a unique barcode that will be scanned upon entering the venue. Hence, only the first person to present the ticket will be granted access to the performance. Reproduction, duplication or forging of tickets is strictly unauthorised.

Different rates are available depending on the shows.

For special rates (reduced, young persons, etc.), proof will be requested upon presentation of the ticket at the venue. In case of a mistake, the client will have to pay the difference.

Seating plan & location of the seats

Numbered seats (main hall) and non-numbered seats (Studio Stratz & Studio Steiger) are available depending on the venue’s layout for the event.
During the buying process, numbered seats may be indicated on a seating map if available. The location on the seating map is provided in the most representative way possible. Seating maps on the website www.comedie.ch are provided for information purposes only and are not contractually binding.

Cancellation, postponement, refund

Tickets are made available as soon as the payment has been validated. Tickets cannot be sold on at a higher price than the amount (including tax) indicated on the ticket. Any person having bought a second-hand ticket for a higher price than that stated on the ticket may be refused access to the venue. All ticket holders must comply with the terms and conditions and the protocol of the venue, whatever the show. Upon receiving the ticket, buyers must check the name, date and time of the show as well as the price indicated. No claim shall be taken into consideration thereafter.

Shows begin at the exact time indicated on the ticket. In the event of delay, no refunds will be granted. Depending on the show, people arriving late will be seated as best as possible based on the options available. For artistic reasons, access to the performance may be refused once the show has begun.

In case of high demand, seats that are not occupied five minutes before the beginning of the show will be put up for sale.

In the event a show has been cancelled, a later date may be proposed in accordance with the programme. Tickets will have to be exchanged for new tickets bearing the proposed date.

Should La Comédie de Genève decide to refund the ticket, only the amount indicated on the ticket will be reimbursed. All refunds, made upon the buyer’s request, will be paid within 30 days of the date of the show. Clients thus undertake to send their tickets to the theatre as soon as possible.

Should a show be cancelled or the date, time or place modified, buyers will agree to let La Comédie de Genève use the data given during payment in order to pass on necessary information.
