We have begun working in close partnership with La Manufacture - School of Performing Arts of Western Switzerland. A talent factory (play acting, contemporary dance, stagecraft), this school directed by Frédéric Plazy represents a great opportunity for our region.
Right from the first season, La Comédie will look like a creative hive:
– On 21 December 2018, a theatre series supervised by theatre director Robert Cantarella performed in its entirety (see p. 42)
– From 23 to 26 May 2019, the end-of-year performance of the group J, directed by Italian company Motus (see p. 39)
– In June 2019, students in theatre directing will come to La Comédie for a workshop directed by NKDM. Open rehearsals. Follow our website and subscribe to our newsletters.
As of this year we will act as a privileged employer for artists graduating out of this internationally-renowned school. You will see talented artists bloom in your theatre and you will be able to follow them depending on your diligence as a member of the audience. You will have witnessed their “making of”, and you will love following their work on stage!
